Terms of Service

The rules for using RMH, your subscription, and the limits of what an AI estimate can do.

  1. 01Agreement

    These Terms govern your use of the RMH service operated by RMH CONTRACTING LIMITED (“RMH”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and AI Disclaimer.

  2. 02The service

    RMH provides AI-generated renovation estimates, mood boards, indicative timelines, red-flag checks and preview media. As set out in the AI Disclaimer, output is indicative only, may differ from real costs by ±20% or more, and is not a substitute for licensed professional advice or building consent.

  3. 03Accounts

    You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

  4. 04Acceptable use

    You agree to use RMH only as permitted by our Acceptable Use Policy, including not uploading property you are not authorised to depict and not generating plans that would breach the New Zealand Building Code or resource consent requirements.

  5. 05Subscriptions & payment

    Paid plans are billed in USD via Stripe and appear on your statement as RMH ESTIMATE. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds are described in our Subscription Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy.

  6. 06Intellectual property

    RMH and its software, brand and design are owned by us. You retain rights in the content you upload, and you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service. The estimates and media generated for you are yours to use for your own renovation planning.

  7. 07Disclaimers & limitation of liability

    The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made in reliance on AI output. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or Fair Trading Act where they apply. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

  8. 08Termination

    You can stop using RMH and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. On termination, your right to use the service ends; surviving clauses (IP, liability, governing law) remain in effect.

  9. 09Governing law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

  10. 10Changes

    We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
